The hulls and frames of the Elizabeth Swann are to be made as 10 main subassemblies, (with the port and starboard outriggers/sponsons being mirror image - and the fore and aft foils being identical), as depicted below and joined by assembly to form the 'articulation-ready' wave piercing trimaran hull. These are draft dimensions, for project planning purposes, subject to revision by our naval architects and stressing team as the concept is developed. The vessel is designed first and foremost as a development test-bed for ocean speed trials, and secondly as a stunning solar boat for inclusion in a potential series of conservation themed films.
