PlanetSolar heading out into uncharted technical waters. The theory was in place, but nobody knew if this solar powered boat could make it. But they did! The solar panel area on this ship was increased with solar panels on rollers, pulled out by the crew using winches. The Elizabeth Swann uses robotics and hydraulics to move solar wings that automatically track the sun, and fold away in storm conditions.
The Elizabeth Swann will be made available to the UN's IMO, and other climate change and solar boat events held by (for example) the G20 or Commonwealth nations, to include (where appropriate) harbour masters and/or port authorities.
Foundation management will encourage, and where applicable, assist with the making of documentaries and will generate ocean/climate awareness themes and offer such products by way of 'rights' to film makers. One such (current) example being the developing Kulo Luna story. The scenes below are from the Shark Attack chapter.

In colour: The giant humpback whale, Kulo-Luna, is surrounded by hungry great white sharks, unable to swim freely as she is caught in discarded fishing nets. Kulo-Luna is a humpback whale injured by whalers, caught in fishing nets and being attacked by sharks, when John Storm appears in his solar powered ship - to rescue the marine mammal. These pictures are Copyright © Jameson Hunter Ltd and Cleaner Ocean Foundation December 2020, all rights reserved.
John Storm fights off the last shark and cuts the giant humpback free of netting - his reward is a resounding whale song. These pictures are Copyright © Jameson Hunter Ltd and Cleaner Ocean Foundation December 2020, all rights reserved.
John Storm and Dan Hawk make a giant bandage for the wounded whale, who shows her gratitude and becomes friends with the crew of the eco ship, swimming with them. Newly feeling safe and protected. She began thinking that not all humans are bad - but knew there were a lot of nasty ones out there. The Cleaner Ocean Foundation works to help protect the "seven seas" from the effects of anthropogenic atmospheric pollution like this ship that is belching diesel fumes like there is no tomorrow. We'd like to preserve tomorrow for our children. You can help us to make this scene a thing of the past.
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
Because we can, and because we can, we must.
